Install and run

Install Claude Code, then download and install Tackora.

1. Install Claude Code

Tackora runs the Claude Code CLI you already use. It needs a Claude Pro, Max, Team or Enterprise plan. Install it, then run claude once in a terminal to sign in.

Linux

Check that it's on your PATH:

2. Get Tackora

Linux

# Download the AppImage from the Download page, then:
chmod +x Tackora_*_amd64.AppImage
./Tackora_*_amd64.AppImage

Windows

Download Tackora_*_x64-setup.exe from the Download page and run it.

Other packages (.deb, .rpm, .msi, AUR) are on the Download page.

Windows shows "Windows protected your PC"

Builds aren't code-signed yet, so SmartScreen warns about them. Choose More info → Run anyway. On Windows 10 the installer also downloads Microsoft WebView2 if it's missing. Windows 11 already has it.

3. First steps

1. Add a project: pick a Git repository folder, or clone one (owner/name or any URL). If no agent is ready yet, Tackora shows a setup screen instead, with the install command for each agent.
2. Create a ticket and choose Create and start. Pick the agent, model and mode; the agent opens in the ticket's terminal with the ticket as its first prompt.
3. The first time Claude Code opens in a folder it asks whether you trust it. Answer in the terminal.
4. Press Ctrl+K any time to ask Tackora in plain words.
